Εγκρίθηκαν οι περιβαλλοντικοί όροι για την κατασκευή και λειτουργία πεντάστερης ξενοδοχειακής μονάδας, δυναμικότητας 800 κλινών, ιδιοκτησίας της ΣΤΕΛΛΑ ΠΟΛΑΡΙΣ ΚΡΕΤΑ Α.Ε. στην Κρήτη. Υπενθυμίζεται ότι η Καράτζης πούλησε τον Ιούλιο στην TUI το 100% της θυγατρικής του Κρέτα Πολάρις, που διαθέτει οικόπεδο στη νότια ακτή της Κρήτης, στην περιοχή Κουτσουνάρι Ιεράπετρας, όπου θα κατασκευαστεί μια νέα μονάδα Robinson Club.
Η συγκεκριμένη Απόφαση αφορά την επέκταση του γηπέδου (συνολική επιφάνεια: 110.812,94τ.μ. και 4607,64 τ.μ. παραχωρημένου δρόμου) και την αύξηση της δυναμικότητας του έργου σε 800 κλίνες.
Η ξενοδοχειακή μονάδα πρόκειται να κατασκευαστεί, στη θέση Άγιοι Τεσσαράκοντα Ιεράπετρας. Αποτελεί κύριο Ξενοδοχειακό κατάλυμα σε περιοχή εκτός σχεδίου πόλεως και εκτός ορίων οικισμών. Η συνολική δυναμικότητα της μονάδας είναι 800 κλίνες, οι οποίες αναπτύσσονται σε 350 δωμάτια.
Το Ξενοδοχειακό Συγκρότημα θα αποτελείται από ισόγεια ή διώροφα συγκροτήματα δωματίων και κεντρικό κτίριο κοινοχρήστων λειτουργιών και κοινόχρηστο περιβάλλοντα
χώρο.
Ένα μέρος των Συγκροτημάτων των Δωματίων (Double rooms & Family rooms) αναπτύσσονται γύρω από την μεγάλη κεντρική πισίνα και είναι σχεδιασμένα έτσι ώστε να
προσφέρουν θέα σε αυτήν. Τα υπόλοιπα Συγκροτήματα των Δωματίων (Double rooms & Deluxe Suites & Junior Suites) είναι σχεδιασμένα έτσι ώστε να προσφέρουν θέα στην
θάλασσα.
Τα Συγκροτήματα εξυπηρετούνται από πλέγμα δρόμων – πεζοδρόμων.
Το Κεντρικό Κτίριο είναι διώροφο με υπόγειο και εξυπηρετεί μόνο κοινόχρηστες λειτουργίες.
Σε σχέση με τον αρχικό σχεδιασμό προβλέπεται επέκταση του εστιατορίου, ένας επιπλέον ανεξάρτητος χώρος εστίασης και ένα επιπλέον Bar με τους ημιυπαίθριους χώρους του.
Στο νότιο άκρο του γηπέδου και πλησίον της γραμμής παραλίας, χωροθετούνται κλειστή θερμαινόμενη πισίνα και ισόγειοι χώροι με Η/Χ και υπόγειο. Στους προαναφερόμενους
χώρους προβλέπονται εγκαταστάσεις άθλησης-αναζωογόνησης και αναψυχής, κατ΄εφαρμογή του Ν.4178/2013 (αρθ. 5 – παρ. 4), για γήπεδα με μεγάλο πρόσωπο σε παραλία.
Η λειτουργία του ξενοδοχείου είναι εποχιακή και εστιάζεται στου θερινούς μήνες.
